Pacific golden-plover

The Pacific golden-plover – ( Pluvialis fulva) is a medium sized species of Wader in the family Charadriidae. It breeds across the N coasts of Asia from the Yenisei Gulf to the W coast of Alaska. In winter it migrates south to S Asia, SE Asia and onto the coasts of Australia and New Zealand. In the AWB Region it is found on Passage along the S coastal region of the Arabian Peninsula into Yemen and across the Gulf of Aden to winter in Somaliland and S Somalia.
