Pin-tailed whydah – Vidua macroura – is a small resident African passerine of Type – granivore, Family Viduidae and Order Passeriformes. It is widely resident over s s Africa. In the AWB Region it is resident across all the Sahel Belt states plus Eritrea and Somalia.
