Red-rumped swallow – Cecropis daurica – is a small Eurasian swallow of Type – aerialist, Family Hirundinidae and Order Passeriformes. It has both migratory and resident populations across Temperate Eurasia from Iberia to Japan. In the AWB Region it is a summer breeder to Turkey, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Cyprus, the Levant, N Morocco and N Algeria. It winters in isolated areas in Mauritania, Mali, Chad, Sudan, Eritrea and Somaliland. Small resident populations are found in N Algeria, Eritrea, W Yemen and SW KSA.
