The Small pratincole – Glareola lactea is a small migratory wader of the family Glareolidae. It a summer breeder to the NW Indian Subcontinent, and resident over large areas of India and into SE Asia. In the AWB Region it is found on passage in SE Iran and across the Straits of Hormuz, to E coast UAE and winters in E Oman.
