Socotra bunting – Emberiza socotrana – is a small Arabian passerine of Type – granivore, Family Emberizidae and Order Passeriformes. It has a very limited range and is endemic to Socotra, where its status is NT – Near Threatened.

Type - granivore - 
Summer Habitat - breeds on rocky higher elevations of shrublands and grasslands,
Winter Habitat - tends to form small flocks on the coastal plain areas,
