Sombre tit – Poecile lugubris – is a small resident Eurasian passerine of Type – tit-like, Family Paridae and Order Passeriformes. It ranges from SE Europe into Turkey and SW Asia. In the AWB Region it is resident in Turkey, W Syria, the Levant, NE Iraq, Iran and to a limited extent S Caucasus.
