Spanish eagle – Aquila adalberti – is a large resident European eagle of Type – diurnal-raptor, Family Accipitridae and Order Accipitriformes. It is native to the Iberian peninsular, however in the AWB Region it classed as Accidental in Morocco and Extirpated from Algeria. It breeds near the edges of mature woodlands that are often near wetlands for available prey.
