Streaked weaver – Ploceus manyar – is an Asian Weaver of Type – granivore, Family Ploceidae and Order Passeriformes. It is resident in the Indian sub-continent and SE Asia. The AWB Region is outside its normal range but it has been introduced by man to Egypt, Qatar and the UAE.
