Temminck’s lark – Eremophila bilopha – is unusual, as a distinctive looking lark of Type – Alaudine, Family Alaudidae and Order Passeriformes. It is resident in a band over N Africa and into Arabia, all within the AWB Region. As noted above, the resident band extends from NW Mauritania, Western Sahara through the Maghreb states, across Libya and Egypt into Sinai, where it expands to include larger areas of Jordan, Syria, W Iraq and N KSA.
