Woodlark – Lullula arborea – is a small migratory/resident Afro/Eurasia passerine of Type – Alaudine, Family Alaudidae and Order Passeriformes. It is found in NW Africa, Europe and SW Asia, where it has a complex distribution pattern, in Central and E Europe, and SW Asia it is mostly a summer breeder, and in W and S Europe, NW Africa it is mostly resident. In the AWB Region it is a summer breeder to Turkey, S Caucasus, Iran, Iraq and N Syria. It is a winter visitor to Syria, S Levant, N Egypt, Cyprus and NW Libya, and is resident in coastal areas of W and S Turkey, Central Cyprus, N and Central Levant, S Jordan and the N coastal Maghreb states.
