Yellow-crowned bishop – Euplectes afer – is a small resident African passerine of Type – granivore, Family Ploceidae and Order Passeriformes. It is dispersed over s s Africa and in the AWB Region it is found in small isolated areas in Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Chad, Sudan and Eritrea, where it is typically found in wet areas with tall grass.
