The Yellow-legged gull – Larus michahellis is a large sedentary gull of Type – seabird, Family Laridae and Order Charadriiformes. It is found on coasts of Europe, Turkey, Cyprus, the Levant and N Africa. More particularly, in the AWB Region it is found along the N and NW coasts of Africa, where it is both resident on inland coastal strips and more dispersive in the winter, and also moves further offshore.
