African silverbill – Euodice cantans – is a small resident African passerine of Type – granivore, Family Estrildidae and Order Passeriformes. It is resident across s s Africa, N of the Equator and into SW Arabia. In the AWB Region it is resident across all the Sahel Belt states plus Eritrea, Djibouti, and Somalia. In Arabia it is resident in SW KSA, Yemen and Dhofar.
