Bucerotidae – Hornbills+ are a tropical/subtropical Family of Afro/Asian birds. They are characterized by their large to very large, down-curved bills resembling a cows horn, from where they get their name. They are of Type – omnivore – they eat fruits, insects, and small creatures. They nest in natural cavities in trees and sometimes cliffs, and are placed in the Order Bucerotiformes. Outside of the breeding season they can form large roosting flocks.
