Crested lark – Galerida cristata – is a resident, terrestrial, Eurasian lark of Type – Alaudine, Family Alaudidae and Order Passeriformes. In the AWB Region it is found in all the Middle East and N African countries, In E Turkey it is a summer breeder but elsewhere in Turkey and all other countries (as noted above) it is a resident and quite common species.
