Desert finch – Rhodospiza obsoleta – is a larger resident Asian finch of Type – granivore, Family Fringillidae and Order Passeriformes. It found from Arabia and SW Asia to E Asia where it is largely resident. Its range is broken up into many small areas and in the AWB Region it is found as resident in Iran , Iraq, Syria, Turkey, the Levant, and KSA.
