Familiar chat – Oenanthe familiaris – is a small resident African passerine of Type – sallyer, Family Muscicapidae and Order Passeriformes. It is found across s s Africa except for the most densely forested and most arid areas. In the AWB Region it is found in small numbers in Mali, Niger, Chad, Sudan and Eritrea.
