Mascarene martin – Phedina borbonica – or Mascarene swallow is a small resident Mascarene martin, of Type – aerialist, Family Hirundinidae and Order Passeriformes. It is found as resident in the Mascarene Islands and Madagascar. In the AWB Region it is found as Accidental in the Comoros. There is a subspecies that is migratory to various isolated areas in Eastern Africa.
