Syrian serin – Serinus syriacus – is a small migratory Asian finch+ of Type – granivore, Family Fringillidae and Order Passeriformes. It is native to the Levant and in the AWB Region it is a summer breeder to Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Jordan, and is a winter visitor to Jordan, Israel and Sinai. It is commonly found on passage over the Levant and Sinai area.
