Cetti’s warbler – Cettia cetti – is a small resident and migratory Eurasian warbler of Type – insectivore, Family Scotocercidae and Order Passeriformes. It is found from W Europe to Central Asia. In the AWB Region it is a summer breeder to Central and E Turkey, S Caucasus, and N Iraq. It is a winter visitor to the Arabian Gulf coastal areas of Iran, Kuwait and NE KSA, this wintering area also extends up the main river valleys of Iraq. There are also small isolated wintering areas in S Levant and Tunisia. There are a few areas where it becomes resident in W and S Turkey, Iran, Cyprus, the Levant, Syria, N Iraq and the N Maghreb states.
