Cisticolidae – Cisticolas+ or Cisticolas and allies – is a Family of small warbler like passerines of Type – insectivore and Order Passeriformes. Previously all the common names were referred to as warblers, but this has now been changed in bid to rationalise the use of the term warbler to refer many small birds, in a large range of Families. The Family now contains the categories as shown below, but the use of the term warbler is still encountered.
