Citril finch – Carduelis citrinella – is a small resident European passerine of Type – granivore, Family Fringillidae and Order Passeriformes. It has a limited range, and is resident in the mountains of SW and southern Europe. The AWB Region lies outside of its normal range, but it is recorded as Accidental in Morocco.

Typical Habitat - alpine meadows and sub-alpine coniferous forests of SW and S Europe,
                            with some altitudinal movements in winter,
