Eurasian reed-warbler – Acrocephalus scirpaceus – is a mid-sized migratory warbler of Type – insectivore, Family Acrocephalidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder across Europe into Central Asia, and in winter migrates to s s Africa. In the AWB Region it is a summer breeder to the Nile Delta, Cyprus, Sinai, the Levant, Syria, Turkey, S Caucasus, Iran, KSA and UAE. In winter it is found in suitable habitat across the Sahel Belt and further south.

Type - insectivore - nest made in and supported by reeds, 
Summer Habitat - reed beds, usually with scattered bushes,
Winter Habitat - expands into close by scrub and thickets,
