Horned lark – Eremophila alpestris – is a small migratory Eurasian/American passerine of Type – Alaudine, Family Alaudidae and Order Passeriformes. It is found worldwide across the Northern hemisphere. In the AWB Region it is found as resident in Turkey, S Caucasus, Iran, Lebanon, NE Syria, N Iraq, Central Levant and Morocco, and as a winter visitor it is found more widely in Iran, Syria and Iraq.

Winter Habitat -  open farmland, deserts, golf courses,
