Pale sand martin – Riparia diluta – or Pale martin is a small migratory Asian martin of Type – aerialist, Family Hirundinidae and Order Passeriformes. It has a wide summer breeding range from Central to E Asia, which in the W migrates to N peninsular India and in the E migrates to S coastal mainland China. In S Central Asia there is a significant resident population. The AWB Region lies to the W of its normal range but it recorded in the main list of the UAE.
