Pied bushchat – Saxicola caprata – is a small migratory/resident Asian chat of Type – sallyer, Family Muscicapidae and Order Passeriformes. Its range extends from E Iran, Indian sub-continent, S Asia to the Philippines. In the W it is migratory and a summer breeder in SW and Central Asia, to the E it is resident and winter visitor. The AWB Region is outside of its normal range but is recorded as Accidental in UAE.
