Red-billed oxpecker – Buphagus erythrorynchus – is a medium sized resident African passerine of Type -bovine forager, Family Buphagidae and Order Passeriformes. It is found as resident in s s Africa, mainly on the eastern side. In the AWB Region it is resident in Somalia, Djibouti, Eritrea and Sudan.
