Rock partridge – Alectoris graeca – is a rotund resident European gamebird of Type – Landfowl, Family Phasianidae and Order Galliformes. It is native to the mountainous areas of SE Europe. The AWB Region lies outside of its normal range but it has been introduced to Lebanon, where it inhabits dry rocky mountain slopes.
