Striolated bunting – Emberiza striolata – or Striated bunting is a small resident Afro-Asian passerine of Type – granivore, Family Emberizidae and Order Passeriformes. It is resident over a patchwork of small isolated areas from NE Africa to NW India. In the AWB Region its more prominent in S Iran and W KSA, elsewhere it is found in smaller numbers in UAE, Oman, Yemen, Sinai, S Levant, Egypt, Libya, Chad, Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti and Somaliland.
