Upcher’s warbler – Hippolais languida – is a mid-sized migratory warbler of Type – insectivore, Family Acrocephalidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder to the N Middle East and into SW Asia, and in the winter it migrates to Eastern Africa. In the AWB Region it is a summer breeder to the Levant, Syria, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran and NE Iraq. It winters around the Horn of Africa, from SE Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti and Somalia to Tanzania.
