White-winged redstart – Phoenicurus erythrogastrus – or Guldenstadt’s redstart – is a smallish resident/migratory Asian passerine of Type – sallyer, Family Muscicapidae and Order Passeriformes. The main population is resident around the mountains near central Asia but there is a small migratory population near Lake Baikal that winters near Beijing, and another smaller population that is resident in the Caucasus Region. In the AWB Region it is resident in the S Caucasus and NW Iran.
