Bank myna – Acridotheres ginginianus – is a smallish resident Indian myna of Type arboreal-forager, Family Sturnidae and Order Passeriformes. It is found natively on the N Indian sub-continent, but it has recently been introduced to the UAE and elsewhere in the AWB Region.

Type - arboreal-forager - typically nests in the earth banks of rivers, hence its name, gregarious year round,
Typical Habitat - open country around earthen river banks, more recently flocks also live in cities,
