The Brown-headed gull – Chroicocephalus brunnicephalus is a small migratory Asian gull of Type – seabird of the family Laridae and the Order Charadriiformes. It is a summer breeder to the high plateaus of Central Asia from Tajikistan to Inner Mongolia. It migrates S to winter in large inland lakes and the coastal areas of the Indian sub-continent and SE Asia eastwards to Macao. In the AWB Region it is only Accidental.
