Eurasian collared-dove

The Eurasian collared-doveStreptopelia decaocto is a small dove of the family Columbidae. Originally from Asia it is now widespread across the Holarctic Region. In the AWB Region it is resident in suitable habitats in Morocco, the Nile Delta through the Levant, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, N Saudi Arabia, N UAE, and Oman.

Resident Habitat - Over the last century it has been irruptively dispersive, expanding  right across Europe and other
                            - parts of the world from Asiatic Turkey.
