Red collared-dove

The Red collared-dove – Streptopelia tranquebarica or Red turtle-dove is a species of Columbidae found across tropical Asia. The AWB Region is not in its traditional range, but recently it was found in the UAE , whilst Pakistan is the nearest country where it is found resident and breeding.

Type - landfowl - nests in trees, 
Resident Habitat - open bushy arable plains with roadside and canalside tree plantations, avoids desert and rocky
                             - areas,
