Iraq babbler – Argya altirostris – is a resident Asian babbler of Type – ground-forager, Family Leiothrichidae and Order Passeriformes. It is native to the to the lower valleys and the reedbeds of the Tigris and Euphrates river system. In the AWB Region it is found as resident in S Central Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Iran and Kuwait.
