Red-tailed tropicbird – Phaethon rubricauda – is a long-tailed, medium sized migratory pelagic seabird of Tropical Indian and Pacific Oceans. In the AWB Region it breeds on the Comoros Islands, and outside of the breeding season it is pelagic in the tropical areas of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. It is of Type – seabird, Family Phaethontidae and Order Phaethontiformes.
