Savi’s warbler – Locustella luscinioides – is a large migratory Eurasian warbler of Type – insectivore, Family Locustellidae and Order Passeriformes. It is a summer breeder from NW Africa, Iberia across Europe to Kazakhstan and in winter migrates to s s N Africa. In the AWB Region it is a summer breeder to Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, S Levant, and the coastal Maghreb states. In the winter it migrates to the Sahel Belt and a little further south where it is found in Mauritania, Mali and Chad.
