Temminck’s stint

The Temminck’s stint – Calidris temminckii is a small wader of the family Scolopacidea. It is a summer breeder to the bogs and marshes of the Taiga of Eurasia. It is strongly migratory to winter in the Tropics of Africa, S and SE Asia. In the AWB Region it is a winter visitor to Central and S Iraq valleys, the S Arabian Gulf from Qatar to Ras al Hadd, SW Yemen, and Palestine. In Africa, the coasts of Morocco and Tunisia, the Nile Valley, to S Sudan, Djibouti, W Somaliland and S Somalia, and across Africa in S Sudan, S Chad, S Niger, S Mali to S Mauritania.
