Great knot

The Great knot – Calidris tenuirostris is a medium sized wader of the family Scolopacidae. It is a summer breeder in the far E Asian Arctic and migrates S to SE Asia and Australasia. In the AWB Region it winters along the Arabian coastal regions of the S Arabian Gulf from Dammam to Masirah.
