The Masked Booby – Sula dactylatra – is a large Tropical marine species of Type – seabird, Family Sulidae and Order Suliformes. It is found in all the world’s Tropical Oceans. In the AWB Region the closest population is in W Indian Ocean into the Arabian Sea and into the S Red Sea. There is another population in the W Atlantic, and it is recorded as Accidental in Morocco.

Type - seabird - colonial breeder, 
Summer Habitat - remote bare open islands and islets, close to deep water,
Winter Habitat - pelagic Tropical waters,
