Pallas’s Fish-Eagle

Pallas’s Fish-Eagle (Haliaeetus leucoryphus), is a large Sea-Eagle (Despite its common name) of the Family Accipitridae. It is found across Cetral Asia, and is migratory in its Northern range but South of the Himalayas it becomes resident across the northern Indotropic Region. Within the AWB Region it is resident in a small area of Eastern Iran.


Habitat Breeding: Large wetlands, big lakes and rivers in lowland and upland ares
Habitat Nesting : Nests in large trees next to water or cliffs in upland regions
